The Transparency Act came into force on July 1, 2022. The Transparency Act's main purpose is to “Promote businesses' respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions in connection with the production of goods and the provision of services”.
IP Huse AS follows the Transparency Act and has carried out a due diligence assessment based on six steps in OECD guidelines. Due diligence assessments are carried out to avoid negative impact and harm to people, society and the environment, and to correct any damage that may occur.
The Transparency Act gives everyone the right to ask companies for information about how they deal with negative impacts on human rights and working conditions.
For inquiries related to the Transparency Act, this should be sent to the address: iph@iphuse.no, and marked with “Transparency Act” in the subject line of the email.
According to Section 4 of the Transparency Act, all entities covered by the Act are required to carry out due diligence assessments in line with the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Companies.
